Dr.Laing's ' Experience '

Experience is a flame which constantly melts and recasts our theories.

The inner does not become outer, and the outer become inner, just by the re-discovery of the inner.

We can see other people's behaviour, but not their experience.

Your experience of me is not inside you and my experience of you is not inside me, but your experience of me is invisible to me and my experience of you is invisible to you.

I cannot experience your experience. You cannot experience my experience.

I cannot avoid trying to understand your experience because although I do not experience your experience which is invisible to me, yet I experience you as experiencing. I EXPERIENCE myself as EXPERIENCED by you. And I experience you as experiencing yourself as experienced by me. 

EYES ON GOAL

We can not think, feel, will, or act without the perception of some goal.
It can be demonstrated that all psychic activities are given a direction by means of a previously determined goal.
Every psychic phenomenon,if it is to give us any understanding of a person, can only be grasped and understood if regarded as a preparation for some goal.
As soon as the goal of a psychic movement of its life-plan has been recognised, then we are to assume that all the movements of its constituent parts will coincide with both the goal and the life-plan.
When combined, the properly understood part movements give the picture of an integrated life-plan and final goal.
